Weekly access to qualified psychological support

Weekly live sessions with Dr Sula Windgassen, our self-paced programme and a community that understands are all included within our monthly membership for those who want structured, expert support they can actually sustain.

Get guided support in your journey.

Most things available for people living with persistent symptoms fall into one of two categories: expensive, hard-to-access private therapy, or generic wellness content that does not come close to the complexity of what you are actually dealing with.

BMC sits in the gap between those two things. It gives you weekly live access to one of the UK's leading Health Psychologists for around £10 a week, alongside a comprehensive self-paced programme and a community of people who genuinely understand what it is like to live in a fluctuating body. This is not a course to complete. It is ongoing support to return to, week after week, for as long as you need it.

Your weekly session with Dr Sula Windgassen

Every Wednesday evening, Dr Sula leads a live session on Zoom. These are not pre-recorded videos or automated content. They are real, live sessions where you can ask questions directly, in the chat or out loud, camera on or off, and receive guidance that applies to your specific situation.

A private session with a specialist health psychologist costs upwards of £150. In BMC, you have live weekly access to Dr Sula for less than the cost of a single session per month.

What the workshops cover

The weekly workshops range in topics and focus, with some being reflective and others being experiential. They are built on the following three elements:

Teaching the science

The psychobiology behind your symptoms, explained in a way that makes your experience make sense rather than feel frightening

Guided practice

Working through techniques together, so you are not just learning about them but actually practising them in a supported space

Reflection and problem-solving

Space to work through what is coming up for you, with Dr Sula's guidance and input from the group
Past workshop themes have included:
  • Processing the past and updating the brain
  • Getting heard and finding your voice
  • Dissecting symptom cycles
  • Locating emotions in your body
  • Internally validating yourself

About Dr. Sula Windgassen

Dr. Sula Windgassen is a leading Health Psychologist, CBT and EMDR therapist, and Mindfulness teacher with two doctoral degrees - in Psychological Medicine and Health Psychology. Her passion for the mind-body connection was ignited by her own two-year journey recovering from "mystery" bladder issues. She founded Body Mind Connect to bring her evidence-based approaches to those struggling with chronic conditions, creating the resource she knew would have been helpful in her own healing journey.
